Joshua J. Shore is a partner in the firm's Fort Lauderdale Litigation Group and concentrates his practice on real estate and commercial litigation matters in Florida’s state and federal courts, along with regular appellate work. Mr. Shore has over eighteen (18) years of litigation experience, including representing business entities, individuals, institutional lenders, and title insurance underwriters in complex real estate and commercial related matters, with clients ranging from the national to local level. Mr. Shore also handles some transactional work, including residential closings and other transactional matters.
His experience in the real estate realm ranges from specializing in title insurance-related disputes, including mortgage and title defects, lien priority issues, fraud and identity theft, recoupment actions and countless other variations. Mr. Shore focuses on litigated results, but takes a dynamic and creative approach to dispute resolution, including a wealth of experience in mediated and non-mediated resolutions of commercial, real estate, foreclosure, and other related matters. Mr. Shore is also regularly appointed to serve as a Guardian Ad Litem in foreclosure, probate, and other real property actions.
Mr. Shore earned his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is admitted to the Florida Bar as well as all U.S. District Courts within the State of Florida.
