Jacqueline F. Perez, a Partner in KHL's Tampa Bay office, is a litigator who represents property owners and lenders in lawsuits pertaining to real property and title issues. She represents clients in a wide range of matters involving real property, including quiet title, boundary disputes, complex surveying issues, including historical errors in sections and plats, the Marketable Record Title Act, easements, allegations of forgery or fraud, reformation, lien priority and validity, wire fraud diversion, and appeals involving real property issues. She also represents closing agents and title insurers.

Jacqueline approaches each case from a practical standpoint with the goal of finding the most efficient and cost-effective resolution. She has a strong attention to detail and the technical skills to research using relentless and creative solutions. She prides herself on being a true "dirt lawyer" -- doing the research and being the most prepared attorney in the courtroom.

Prior to her career in real property law, Jacqueline worked in the intellectual property industry, serving as a researcher and in-house counsel for a patent research company, which provided her with the framework for her research-based approaches.

Jacqueline earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from the Stetson University College of Law in 2007. She received her undergraduate degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University (now part of Georgia Southern University) in 2004, summa cum laude, with a B.A. in English and a minor in Legal Studies. She is admitted to practice in Florida state courts, as well as the Middle District of Florida.

Additionally, Jacqueline is a member of the Florida Land Title Association and the Clearwater Bar Association. Previously, she has been a speaker at the Florida Land Title Association Round Table and Fund Assembly.
