Lynette Ebeoglu McGuinness, a Partner in KHL's Miami office, is a commercial litigator who represents individuals, small businesses, banks and title companies in lawsuits pertaining to real property, title, banking, contracts and business torts. She represents clients in a wide range of matters including, among other areas, title to real property, condo deposit cases, corporate finance, contractual disputes, foreclosures, probate adversary proceedings, commercial and residential real estate, ADA public accommodations defense, financial instruments, corporate fraud, class action defense, injunctions and receiverships. She also has a significant appellate practice, having briefed and argued many appeals in the state appellate courts and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. In addition to her litigation practice, Lynette is also certified as a circuit civil and county mediator by the Florida Supreme Court.

Lynette prides herself on her emphasis on integrity, legal analysis, work ethic and experience, while being thorough and detail-oriented in developing and resolving stressful disputes. She approaches each day as an opportunity to improve her clients' lives while being intellectually challenged.

Lynette earned her J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Florida in 1989, where she was a member of Law Review and Trial Team, was the Chancellor of the University Honor Court and was named to the University of Florida Hall of Fame for her outstanding leadership, community service and academic achievements. She received her B.S.B.A., with honors, from the University of Florida College of Business Administration in 1985. She is admitted to practice in Florida state courts, as well as the Eleventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals and the Middle, Southern and Northern Districts of Florida.

During law school, she clerked for the Honorable Harold Bryan Crosby, who was appointed as a Special Master by Judge Winston Arnow in a civil rights class action brought against the U.S. Air Force in the Northern District of Florida.

Lynette is Martindale Hubbell "AV Peer Review Rated." Additionally, she is a University of Florida Law Alumni Council Member, a member of the Dade County Bar Association, and is a Vestry Member and Chancellor at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. She was previously a Vice Chair and Member of Florida Bar Grievance Committee 11M, a Junior and Senior Warden at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, and was on the Board of Trustees and was the School and Home President of St. Stephen's Episcopal Day School.
