Mr. Andrews is an Associate in the firm’s Miami and Fort Lauderdale offices and has developed a specialty practice in the consumer-finance related litigation space. He has represented some of the nation’s largest financial institutions in both federal and state court in cases involving claims brought under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Truth in Lending Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Home Ownership and Equity Protection Act, and Florida's Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act and Florida's Consumer Collection Protection Act. Mr. Andrews is admitted to and has practiced in the Southern District of Florida, the Middle District of Florida, as well as the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, the Second District Court of Appeals, Third District Court of Appeals and Fourth District Court of Appeals.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Andrews was a partner at Shutts & Bowen. Mr. Andrews’ has written on the dangers of communicating with consumers via autodialed calls and texts to cellphones, including an article published in the Daily Business Review titled, Why It Pays to Know Risks Before Texting Prospective Clients. Mr. Andrews has also authored articles on the regulatory space including a piece entitled, Consumer Confidence and the Deregulated Marketplace.

Mr. Andrews received his Bachelor of Science degree from Barry University in Political Science (1992). After a successful business career, Mr. Andrews returned to school in 2001 and received his Juris Doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University Sheppard Board School of Law (2005). Mr. Andrews is a member of the Florida Bar.
