Joanna Plessis is a partner in the firm’s Commercial Real Estate practice, where she represents developers, private lenders, institutional lenders, and other clients engaged in complex real estate transactions. Her practice spans all aspects of commercial real estate, including negotiating purchase and sale agreements, reviewing and resolving title and survey matters, and preparing and analyzing sophisticated loan documents.

With a detailoriented approach and deep industry knowledge, Joanna advises clients through every phase of a transaction—from initial structuring to closing—ensuring that deals are executed efficiently and strategically. She regularly handles acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and developmentrelated matters across a wide range of asset classes.

Joanna earned her undergraduate degree from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and received her law degree from the University of Miami. She is fluent in English and Spanish and also speaks conversational Italian, allowing her to work seamlessly with a diverse range of clients.
