Justin M. Henning, an Associate in KHL's Miami office, is a real estate and commercial litigator who focuses largely on assisting clients in complex commercial litigation, real estate transactions and litigation, and fractional general counsel services.

Justin enjoys assisting clients as they navigate through complex issues, transactions, and disputes using his diligent and hardworking nature to achieve positive outcomes.

Prior to joining the firm, Justin's practice focused on Civil Litigation and Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, where he assisted commercial clients in restructuring debt, accessing capital, and continuing to operate during bankruptcy.

Justin earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 2019, where he served as an Executive Board Member of the University of Miami Business Law Review and was Vice President of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Society. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida in 2016. He is admitted to practice in Florida state courts, as well as the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

His publication in the University of Miami Business Law Review, The Howey Test: Are Crypto-Assets Investment Contracts?, 27 U. MIA Bus. L. Rev. 51 (2018), has been cited numerous times throughout the country.
