Leah Gardner, an Associate in KHL's Miami office, is a commercial litigator who assists in handling complex matters, including class actions, on both the plaintiff and defense side.

Leah endeavors to implement creative and effective solutions for the matters she works on, and, by using her legal research, writing skills and critical analysis, to provide the firm's clients with superior representation. She prefers the team-approach, joining forces with other members of the firm, some of whom she has been practicing with for decades.

Leah earned her J.D. from the University of California Berkeley Law School in 1987, where she served as Note & Comment Editor of the California Law Review. She was the Author of "Protecting Children with AIDS against Arbitrary Exclusion from School", 74 Cal.L.Rev. 1373 (1986) and received the American Jurisprudence Award (first in class) in Administrative Law in 1987 and the Prosser Scholar Award (second in class) in Antitrust Law in 1986. She was also an instructor for Legal Writing & Research in 1986. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from University of California Berkeley in 1984, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She is admitted to practice in Florida state and federal courts.
