Michael I. Feldman, a Partner in KHL's Miami office, is a commercial litigator with a diverse practice focused on complex commercial disputes. He represents clients across a wide range of matters, including shareholder and partnership disputes, commercial foreclosures and evictions, real property disputes, lender liability, banking litigation, creditors' rights, employment disputes, construction litigation, and general breach of contract claims. He is also actively involved in the firm's real estate transactions practice.

In addition to his litigation work, Michael serves as a mediator and as an expert witness on attorneys' fees. He has been appointed by various courts to serve in multiple capacities, including Special Magistrate, Guardian Ad Litem, and Receiver. Beyond his role at KHL Law, Michael is an Adjunct Professor at St. Thomas University Benjamin L. Crump College of Law.

His breadth of experience enables him to take a practical, results-driven approach that balances legal strategy with economic realities, helping clients make informed and effective decisions. Michael earned his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 2003 and his M.B.A. from H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship that same year. He received his Bachelor of Science in Communication from the University of Miami in 2000. He is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, as well as the United States District Court and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida. He is also a Supreme Court of Florida Certified Circuit Civil Mediator.

Michael is "AV Peer Review Rated" by Martindale-Hubbell and remains actively engaged in both the legal profession and the broader community. He has served as Vice Chair of the Miami-Dade Bar ADR/Arbitration Committee and as a member of The Florida Bar Grievance Committee (Regions 11(A) and 11(C)). He is a member and former three-term President of the Business Network International (BNI) Synergy Chapter and previously served on the School Board for the Foundation School at Temple Beth Sholom in Miami Beach.

In addition, Michael assisted the Kushner family in establishing the John E. Kushner Family Foundation and helped create a partnership with the Alpha-1 Foundation. He has served as a mentor in the University of Miami Business School Mentor Program and was appointed by the Miami Beach Commission to the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee. Most recently, he participated as a panelist at the 2025 Miami-Dade Bar Law Con Panel on "Communicating with and Preparing Insurers for Mediation." He also actively volunteers with Food Rescue US South Florida.
